2015 Draft: Best Available Prep Prospects

To kick off the 2015 Draft, 75 players were selected Monday night, taking us through Competitive Balance Round B. Of those 75 picks, 36 were high school prospects and 31 ranked in the National Top 50. The second day will begin with the third round and there’s plenty of talent still on the board. Listed below with their ranking are some of the best available high school prospects and a quick bit of info.

7. Justin Hooper, LHP, De La Salle HS, CA (UCLA)
A tall, athletic soutpaw, Hooper has tremendous upside, but was inconsistent this spring. He announced that he fully intends to honor his commitment to UCLA. He was considered a tough sign anyway.
