We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio's 2018 Scout Day: CBC/Midland. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2018-2023 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

Ohio Insider: 2018 Scout Day: CBC/Midland - Sneak Peek

CBC

Top Arms

Ty Crall RHP / Western Brown, OH / 2019

Report: Crall is an intriguing prospect in the 2019 class. At 6-3 and 185 pounds there is room to add mass to his projectable frame. The delivery has good rhythm as he works out of a high-¾ slot. His height and slot create a downward angle on a fastball that sat 79-82 mph with some arm side run. Best secondary offering is an 11/5 breaking ball. At 66-67 mph the pitch is sharp and tunnels well off the fastball. Crall also showed fastball like arm speed on a 70-71 mph changeup with sink.

Midland

Top Arms

Brady Brooks RHP / OF / Campbell County, KY / 2020

Report: The 5-9 Brooks offers a true three pitch mix on the mound. Delivery is efficient and has nice rhythm working slightly across the body. Coming out of a ¾ slot the fastball is easy out of the hand at 81-84 mph with regular arm side run. Shows good feel for both of his secondary offerings. Breaking ball has slurvy action sitting 68-73 mph. Changeup has some sink and run to it at 72-73 mph.
