2019 MLB Draft: Top 150 College Prospects

Fall baseball has returned to college campuses across the country and it’s now time to take an initial look at the top college prospects for the 2019 draft.

The rankings are headlined by Oregon State catcher Adley Rutschman and California slugger Andrew Vaughn. Rutschman is a step above the rest at this juncture with his unique combination of power, an advanced offensive approach, superb defensive skills and strong arm. Vaughn is the most feared and consistent hitter in college baseball after winning the Golden Spikes Award last season and having a solid summer with the USA Collegiate National Team.

At this point the draft looks loaded with college position players, such as Baylor’s Shea Langeliers, Texas Tech's Josh Jung and Bryson Stott from UNLV. Starting pitching depth looks lighter overall than a typical college draft class, but Duke’s Graeme Stinson has earned some comparisons to former NC State standout Carlos Rodon and is the top pitcher on our board. Lefties Zack Thompson and Nick Lodolo will attract plenty of eyeballs in the spring as they aim to establish consistency, while West Virginia righthander Alek Manoah looks to build off of an outstanding summer in the Cape Cod League.
