2019 Power Baseball Fall Tryout Standouts

The Power Baseball 2019 Fall tryouts took place Friday, August 16th to Sunday, August 18th, and PBR Florida was there to cover it. Players from the 2020-2024 classes were in attendance. Friday featured many standout arms during bullpen sessions. Saturday was the pro-style workout for position players. Sunday featured four live scrimmage games for the players to showcase their talents in a game setting. Today we take a look at some of the standouts from each class at the Power Baseball Fall tryouts.


2020

Pitchers

Judson Hershiser RHP / 2B / Windermere, FL / 2020

Uncommitted, 5-foot-11, 170 pound right hander showed off his very high ceiling this week. Low effort fastball that sat 86-89 mph. Easy, clean delivery with a loose arm. Flashed an above average curveball that was 71-72 mph.

 

 

 

Caleb Pundsack LHP / OF / South Lake High School, FL / 2020

Uncommitted, athletic 6-foot-2, 185 pound frame. Repeatable delivery. Sat 85-88 from the left side. Curveball at 75 mph. Showed the ability to throw multiple pitches for strikes and get swings and misses.
