2019 Scout Day: Bo Jackson Elite Sports - Sneak Peek

The Arms

Austin Cotterman RHP / Celina, OH / 2021

Body Type: 6-foot-3, 200-pound very projectable frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes:
Fluid delivery that doesn’t require much effort. Long lever right-hander with a very clean arm.
Fastball:
81-83 mph. Ball jumps out of hand, generating easy velocity.
Curveball:
66-67 mph. Spins a big 11/5 shaped breaking ball with some sharpness to it. More than playable and should keep getting better as velo increases.
Knuckleball:
71-73 mph. Decent feel for the pitch that dances through the zone.
Changeup: 75-76 mph. Didn’t use the pitch often but looked playable when he did.
Pitchability:
Strike thrower that filled it up with each of his offerings.
Additional Comments:
High follow that is a potential breakout candidate this summer. Easy velo with more to come.
