2019 Scout Day: GBG Hawks - Sneak Peek

POSITIONAL

Conor Cooke C / 3B / King Philip Regional, MA / 2021

Report: 6-foot, 195-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Had a great workout in Foxboro. Threw 76 mph down to second base with a pop time of 1.89. The feet are simple and the throwing motion is small on the backside. The receiving is soft and he showed good flexibility behind the dish. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. Sets up with his base wide, front foot open to start. The path is uphill to contact, uses a 1-handed finish after contact. The hands work clean and the frame can add weight and strength. Solid prospect.
