We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio's 2019 Scout Day: Premier Baseball. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2019-2022 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

Jacob Koces RHP / OF / Padua Franciscan, OH / 2021
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 165 pound lean, athletic frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Throws out of a ¾ arm slot with a fluid arm action while producing an upbeat tempo throughout his delivery. Fastball: 71-75 mph. Showed arm side run and gets on you quickly. Stayed in the zone for almost all throws. Curveball: 57-60 mph. Has nice break to it with some late bite maintaining good spin accompanied by accuracy. Changeup: 64-65 mph. Keeps it at the bottom of the zone and shows late arm-side run. Nice job of locating. Pitchability: Showed consistency in the strike zone with each of his pitches. Expecting progress to follow as he gains strength and fills out more. Role: Starter.
