Eyeing the summer recruiting circuit, the time has come for an update to the 2025 Overall Rankings. Much has changed since this group of sophomores was last looked at as winter workouts and events gave way to a busy spring season. Through it all, PBR’s boots-on-the-ground staff has been present, eager to sift and uncover the top talent from coast-to-coast.

This is a critical update for many reasons, namely, it’s the update that precedes this class’ transition from sophomores to juniors ahead of the summer circuit that’s already just around the corner. And given the recruiting restrictions recently implemented by the NCAA, we’ll see the currently uncommitted members of the class stay that way for longer periods of time than we would have otherwise been accustomed to in previous years – especially in the lead-up to late July’s 2023 PBR Future Games.

Here’s a more in-depth look at the top-10 players in the country.

AT THE TOP

The top two remain the same as 3B Ethan Holliday (Stillwater HS, OK), an Oklahoma State recruit, and LHP/OF Cam Caminiti (Saguaro HS, AZ), an LSU recruit, pace the way. Holliday’s elite hit/power combo potential continues to astound as his athletic frame fills out. His place as an impact bat in the class has been cemented. Caminiti’s eye-opening arm talent provided fastballs up to 97 mph late in the high school season with an easy delivery and the likelihood of more to come. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound southpaw also is one of the top bats in the class, and his athletic upside is dynamic in all phases.
