Puyallup, WA - With HS baseball season just on the horizon, some of the top players from across the state took a break from their winter workout schedule to attend a preliminary Area Code workout at New Level 360 in Puyallup, WA.

The indoor event featured a strong collection of talent from both Washington and Oregon. Although we had already seen a majority of the players in attendance, it was great to be able to watch how the physical maturation is beginning to impact their overall games.

Check out our notes and player video...

POSITION PLAYERS

‘21 C Danny Alvarado, South Salem, uncommitted
Alvarado continues to be a powerful, physical presence with the bat. Everything remains quiet & relaxed in the box, which allows his barrel to generate quick, easy whip thru the zone. Back in the fall, he popped a 2.10 down to 2nd and he slightly improved that time with a best of 2.05 during the brief defensive workout.

Should continue to be a steady, consistent performer at the plate with his simple, balanced approach & level swing.
