With the 2016 Draft in the rearview mirror and summer cruising along, the 2017 Overall Rankings have been updated. Taking over the top spot is RHP Ben Jordan (West Carter HS, KY), a Kentucky recruit who ran his fastball up to 97 mph at a recent Area Code Games tryout. He is one of three Kentucky residents in the top 10, with OF/RHP Jordon Adell (Ballard HS, KY) checking at No. 3 and RHP Joseph Boyle (North Oldham HS, KY) at No. 9. Boyle was at Fort Zumwalt HS, MO, but recently moved to the Louisville area. Adell is committed to Louisville while Boyle is a Notre Dame recruit.

Taking a closer look at the rankings, we have some by-the-numbers facts to share.

11: Number of Florida recruits in the top 100.

The Gators have enjoyed strong recruiting classes year after year and their 2017 class is loaded. They have 11 recruits in the top 100 and 16 in the top 400. The highest-ranked Gator commitment is SS Brady McConnell (Merritt Island HS, FL), who has vaulted himself up the rankings the last few weeks. Also of note, Vanderbilt has eight recruits in the top 100 and 15 in the top 400. Louisiana State and Miami each have six recruits in the top 100. Miami recently lost RHP Brandon McCabe (Home Schooled, FL), who announced he de-committed over the weekend.
