The fourth part of the swing is one that is often overlooked when it comes to drill work.

Furthermore, the first three parts of the swing are regularly practiced across all age groups, but the extension move is often left to "be sure you finish with two hands!" With that being said, there are times where a little extra fun in a drill can add a lot of value.

In this week's tip of the week, Chris Burke talks on how young (and older hitters) can work on ensuring they are getting their bat extended towards the pitcher. The Throw the Bat drill is a great drill to work on extension and also allows for some fun!

NOTE: This video will expire 7 days from post 3/27/2018. If you are viewing this Tip of the Week after its expiration, go to http://ecoach.coach/baseball/ for more information.
