2 Tee Drill

The tee will always be one of the most reliable tools in baseball. Batting practice and hitting live pitching are of course actions that need to be practiced, but the tee should be used every single day.

In this weeks' tip of the week, Chris Burke breaks down the 2 Tee Drill as a way to ensure hitters are getting to extension. Several hitters, professional and amateur, struggle with chopping at the baseball.

If a hitter correctly arrives at extension, the fourth and final part of the swing, then the cap of their bat will be pointed at the pitcher as they follow through. The 2 Tee Drill is a great drill to ensure you are doing this move correctly. Check it out and give it a try!

NOTE: This video will expire 7 days from post 6/18/2018. If you are viewing this Tip of the Week after its expiration, go to http://ecoach.coach/baseball/ for more information.
