The higher the level of baseball, the more difficult the decision making process becomes for a hitter at the plate. The reason for this is obviously due to the level of pitching, however, let's take a deeper dive into this from a hitter's perspective.

When we say decision making, we are referencing the moment a hitter's front foot has hit the ground (the Separation move). It is at this moment a hitter is making their decision to either swing or watch the pitch go by.

This week's topic allows a hitter to be successful during the decision making process and also causes failure if done incorrectly. Chris Burke of eCoachBaseball uses a basketball analogy to break this week's tip down and in a way that is incredibly easy to translate to your game. Check it out!

NOTE: This video will expire 7 days from post 5/22/2018. If you are viewing this Tip of the Week after its expiration, go to http://ecoach.coach/baseball/ for more information.
