HOW TO LEG KICK

*Ben Fisher – Eastern Kentucky University Infielder*

The load to your swing allows for a lot individuality. As long as you get to the separation position, which is the first part of the swing, then the loading mechanism that you choose to use is almost irrelevant.

With that being said, there are several different loading triggers being used in today's game with one of them being the leg kick.

What is the best way to leg kick?

It's a great tool that allows hitters to read the pitch before their foot hits the ground. However, there are a lot of players today who are using the leg kick incorrectly. Whether they are getting their foot down too late, which causes them to be late or they are off balance, the leg kick at time causes negative results.

In this week's tip of the week Chris Burke teaches the leg kick and how to correctly make the move. Hitters like Ben Fisher from EKU and others use the move to their advantage and have found great success.

You can too! Check out this week's tip of the week and learn how to leg kick!
