where should my bat be?

*Stuart Fairchild Jr. Wake Forest University Outfielder*

One of the breakout players of the year last season was none other than Stuart Fairchild Jr. of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Blasting nearly 20 home runs and hitting over .350, Fairchild had a year to remember.

Why is the bat angle important and how has Fairchild mastered this position?

The answer is simpler than you may think.

As long as the knob of the bat is going towards the catcher and the barrel is moving towards the pitcher, then we are in the right position!

To practice this move, watch Chris Burke's Tip of the Week below with PrepBaseball Report: Separation - Bat Angle. Join eCoachBaseball to learn more!

NOTE: This video will expire 7 days from post 2/13/2018. If you are viewing this Tip of the Week after its expiration, go to http://ecoach.coach/baseball/ for more information.
