extension: Bat position

All four parts of the swing are equally as important, but all is lost if you do not finish correctly. As previously shown in recent tips, the fourth part of the swing is Extension: Cap of the bat to the pitcher.

Several hitters struggle with cutting off their swing too early or getting too choppy. It's not uncommon to do the first three parts of the swing correctly and then lose it at extension.

The good news is, there is a way to practice this. In this week's tip of the week, Chris Burke and Prep Baseball Report share a drill that works getting to extension. Check it out!
