SEPARATION: HAND POSITION

Let's pick up where we left off last week and continue to discuss the separation move. Every week we introduce a new tip or drill and a good amount of them have the term "Separation" included.

First things first: separation is the first part of a what eCoachBaseball and Chris Burke believes is a 4-part swing. A hitter's hands should be moving back as their front foot is moving forwards. With that being said, where should your hands end up after you've made the separation move, but before you initiate the swing?

This is an extremely important question and Chris Burke provides his thoughts in this week's tip of the week with Prep Baseball Report!

NOTE: This video will expire 7 days from post 5/1/2018. If you are viewing this Tip of the Week after its expiration, go to http://ecoach.coach/baseball/ for more information.
