The Continental League is turning into a congress of Class 5A (these guys are looking good) and there may be another storm later this week.

Welcome to Colorado schoolboy baseball as it gets into – hopefully -- a regular rotation of scheduling after a spotty start across the state.

Trends? A lot of teams in the upper tiers of the five classifications are facing off against each other, which may only help the later playoff pushes, and the expected storm on Friday may be just strong enough to mess with play into the weekend.

Let’s hope it’s not like in recent years, when storms early in weeks forced mad dashes at the ends of them, or vice-versa, but we shouldn’t be surprised if the spring weather regularly tests pitching staffs.

League play is alive throughout the state, so check out this week’s Power 25 listed below before you head out to watch (and bring appropriate clothing):
