DFW Scouting Notebook - District Play #4

We are heading into the last week of District Play here in the DFW, and there are still district titles to be determined. We take a look at some players that stood out over the last week.

ARGYLE

2024 Colton Roquemore MIF - The left handed hitting Roquemore showed out on Tuesday for Argyle.  He had some big hits for the Eagles, including a 3B he laced to RC and a LD single to score a couple of runs in a big moment.  The swing is simple but has some juice behind it.  He does a great job of staying balanced throughout the swing, allowing him to see the ball deep and use the whole field.  He has more than enough athleticism to stick up the middle long term, either at SS or 2nd.  I am a big fan of Roquemore and imagine his stock will continue to rise through the summer.
