O'Fallon tallied five runs in the 2nd inning. The rally was led by singles by Josh Gibson and Brayden Arnold, a sacrifice fly by Nathan Martin, and a double by Matthew Albritton. Eben Heine closed the game out for the Tigers, pitching the last four innings, striking out seven batters, allowing just one walk and no runs or hits. Brady Miller and Garrett Cook were each 2-for-4 with two RBIs. | ||||

A four-run 5th from Naperville Central pushed them past the Celtics on Thursday. Solo homers from Dakota Kotowski and Jack Flynders weren't enough to overcome the strong pitching of Central. Jared Suchevits started for the Redhawks and did not allow a run in his four innings of work. Alec Nuckols and Jack Jopes combined to prevent Providence from coming back in the final 1.3 innings. | ||||

The Caravan needed 11 innings to defeat Lane Tech on Thursday. A three-run 11th thanks to an RBI single by Ed Howard and a two-run triple by Anthony Livermore helped give Mount Carmel the 9-6 lead and win. | ||||

Stephen Randazzo, Nate Martens, and Logan Payne all recorded two hits for DeSmet in the win. Edwardsville nearly came back in the 4th, down 5-0, and scored four runs, but DeSmet continued to pull away and added runs of their own in the bottom of the 4th and 5th while pitchers Brandon Slater and Charlie Thomasson shut the door in the final two innings. | ||||
