Player: Kyle Smith
Position: C/1B
School: St. Johns River State College

Originally from Wilmington, NC, Smith was selected in the 36th Round of the 2019 MLB draft, but ultimately decided to attend the University of North Carolina before transferring to St Johns River State College for his second year of college. A 6-foot, 205-pound right handed hitter, Smith established himself as one of the top offensive players in the NJCAA to start the season with a .413 average, three home runs, eight doubles and one triple. He has elite bat speed that enables him to hit for power to all fields. Smith is also a good receiver behind the plate and has a strong arm to control the running game. His overall athleticism allows him to play other positions at a high level and keep his bat in the line up everyday.
