2016 Miami commit who stands 6-foot, 190 pounds with a lean and athletic frame with strength. He showed he can hit quality pitching with authority to all fields as he turned around a 91 mph fastball through the 3-4 hole for a single, flied out to deep left field and drove a backside single to left center. Veliz had three RBIs on the game and also made the routine plays on defense.

2017 Miami commit who stands at 6-foot-1, 215 pounds with a strong, stalky and loose body. He showed why he is one of the top power bats in the country as he hit a no doubt home run to right field that got out in a hurry. This home run was second of the tournament.
