2020

Pitchers

Jacob Toenjes RHP / Bartram Trail, FL / 2020

Physical 6-foot-3, 180-pound frame showed well in his outing this weekend. He lands in line very well, keeping his release points consistent. His arm is loose and live with his fastball sitting 80-85. He also flashed a 12-6 curveball with good depth at 63-65.

John (TJ) Curd 1B / LHP / Treasure Coast, FL / 2020

Florida recruit, physical 6-foot 200-pound LHP impressed everyone in his bullpen on Friday. He has a strong lower half to go along with a quick arm. Coming from a high ¾ slot, his fastball featured some arm-side run and sat 84-88. His slider had late movement and was sitting 72-73. At the plate, Curd has above average bat speed and pull-side power. Comes to the plate with a purpose and understands situational hitting.

Blaze McBride RHP / Treasure Coast, FL / 2020

Uncommitted, 6-foot-1 170-pound RHP showed the ability to throw three pitches for strikes. Gets great leverage off of the rubber and utilizes his long levers. Fastball featured arm-side run and sat 82-86. His curveball and changeup are solid secondary pitches sitting 71-73 and 74, respectively.

Bryce McBride RHP / SS / Treasure Coast, FL / 2020

Uncommitted, 6-foot-1 170-pound RHP is not afraid of contact. Fastball sat 83-86 and touched 87. Repeats delivery and pounds the strike zone. 11-5 curveball at 70 and a changeup with depth at 78-79.
