Florida JUCO State Tournament Scout Notes

Lakeland, FL - May 5th - May 9th the last eight teams left in Florida Junior College baseball went head to head to crown a State Champion. The PBR Florida staff was in attendance throughout and saw tons of talent. Take a look at our notes and coverage from the event on players who caught our eye.
5-foot-11, athletic frame. Orbeta’s batting average continued to climb throughout the tournament with his ability to make consistent contact with the baseball. Has the ability to turn the barrel over quickly making hard contact with above average bat speed. Orbeta was a threat every time he came up to the plate in the tournament with his quick twitch swing and ability to get the ball in the gaps, registering multiple extra base hits. (9-19, 6 RBI, 2 BB, (2) 2B, (1) 3B, (1) HR)
