VERO BEACH, FL—The third annual Florida Preseason Classic began Wednesday with arguably the best group of talent yet, as 25 of the state’s top 100 players will take the field. There was a highly anticipated matchup right out of the gate and 150 scouts showed up to see RHP Alejandro Rosario (Miami Christian School, FL) face off against OF Zac Veen (Spruce Creek HS, FL), but 2021 OF Corey Robinson (Spruce Creek HS, FL) stole the show.

A Florida recruit, Robinson led the game off with an infield single that came off a 97 mph fastball from Rosario. He led off the third inning and after seeing two sliders, squared up a 95 mph fastball to center field for a home run. Spruce Creek sent 11 to the plate that inning and Robinson added a bunt single to his stat sheet.
