Georgia 2023 Rankings: Extended Look

We have been thoroughly covering the updated and expanded 2023 state rankings over the holiday season. The 2023 class in Georgia is one of the strongest in the country, and they deserve the attention. Our analysis of this class began with a detailed profile of the top-10 prospects. Our focus then shifted to the prospects outside the top-10 who also appear in the Overall rankings in our High Risers article. Most recently, we did a Deep Dive into the rankings by looking at over 25 of the prospects who rank outside the Overall rankings, but are inside Georgia’s top-100. Today, we wrap up our look at the updated and expanded 2023 rankings with an extended look at the backend of the state, specifically those ranked between 100 and 130.

Let’s kick things off at No. 102 with RHP Landon Lee (North Hall). Lee has a lean, lanky 5-foot-11, 145-pound frame with broad shoulders. The right-handed pitcher has not even scratched the surface of potential physicality. On the mound, his arm works with almost effortlessly to a ¾ slot. It looks like he is just playing catch with all of his pitches. The fastball presently sits in the low-80s, but with some added strength he will continue to tick upward. Lee has three offspeed pitches in his arsenal. The best of them being his slider with 2400 rpm. He can also effectively mix in a 12/6 curveball and a sinking changeup.
