In-depth Look at Proposed Recruiting Changes with a PBR Podcast

Brandon Hall
North Carolina Director of Scouting

The big topics coming out of the American Baseball Coaches Association’s convention in early January revolved around potential rule changes to recruiting and the ability for the NCAA to control some of the pace of recruiting for high school students.  Last week Recruiting Essentials looked at some of the potential rule changes and questions recruits should be asking to learn more about the schools that are recruiting them.

This week I had the chance to join PBR’s National Supervisor Nathan Rode and PBR’s National Crosschecker Shooter Hunt on The Rode Show Podcast.  We hammered out the new rules that are being discussed while working behind the scenes to discuss what some programs are thinking about the proposals.

On the recruiting trail, knowledge is power and this podcast, while being a shameless plug since I appeared on it, allows parents and recruits to get a feel for how programs may be thinking as they setup their future recruiting plans.
