Overview:  Head Coach Chris Lemonis landed a talented signing class which includes six players from Indiana.  The Hoosiers top recruit from the state is RHP Skylar Szynski, the No. 1 ranked player in Indiana's 2016 class.  Szynski had an impressive 2015 campaign leading Penn to a 4A state title in June and had impressive showings at three national events (East Coast Pro, Area Code Games and Jupiter) where he showcased a fastball up to 94-95.  The Hoosiers snagged five other top arms in Andrew Saalfrank (LHP), Cal Krueger (RHP), Justin Reed (RHP) and Cameron Beauchamp (LHP). Saalfrank possesses one of the top breaking balls in the Midwest to go along with a mid-to-upper 80's fastball.  Krueger, who led Jasper to the class 3A state finals in June, has a live arm and a fastball topping out in the low 90's. Krueger possesses good athleticism and the ability to play multiple positions on the field. Justin Reed is another right-handed arm with a mid-to-upper 80's fastball and solid secondary pitches.  Beauchamp, a 6-foot-2, 205 pound lefty, has a fastball that was up to 90 mph this fall. The lone true position player headed to Bloomington from Indiana is Hamilton Southeastern's Matt Gorski, and ultra athletic prospect with speed and arm strength.
