Inside the 2023 Rankings: Top Uncommitted Position Players

Last week PBR released the updated 2023 Overall Rankings and the 2023 North Carolina Rankings.  The North Carolina Rankings were expanded to the Top 295 players in the state.  With a class that is expected to see over 400 college commitments from the 2023 class, more than half of the recruiting will be done after the early signing period in North Carolina.  Below we take a quick look at some of the top names to know that are in the rankings and still looking for their home.

Dylan Kelly C / 1B / Lee County, NC / 2023

06.01.22 - 6-foot, 190-pound build. Consistently hit balls off the barrel working to both gaps. Top exit velocity at 94.5 mph with an average EV of 88.4 mph. Hands are quick with strength. Barrel is short to the ball and stays through the zone. Quick, clean transfers with an accurate arm to second base that topped at 76 mph. Hands work with some ease when receiving.
