With the recent release of our Updated Class of 2022 State Rankings, our scouting staff took a deeper dive into the prospects in the 2022 class. By position, we will comb through the list, highlighting some of the top talent in each class, and today we continue with first basemen.

No. 28 Sully Stringer (Brother Martin HS) is at the top of the 2022 first baseman list. The projectable right-handed hitter flashes pull side power and plays an athletic firstbase. Behind Stringer is No. 75 Roman Tolbert (Haughton HS), a strong framed right-handed bat with strength. Below we will take an in depth look at them along with another first base prospect.
