Sophomore C Brandon Harper has looked good for Allen County in 2023. He impressed last fall at the Allen County & Labette CC Scout Day. Harper’s fantastic 1.78-1.90 second pop time and 80.0 MPH maximum throw velocity indicate potential to throw runners out at a high rate. He consistently hit hard line drives, with a 44.4% hard hit percentage, a 77.8% sweet spot percentage, and a 66.7% line drive percentage. With a 7.24-second 60-yard dash, a 1.73-second 10-yard dash, and a top speed of 19.0 MPH, his athleticism ranks well among catchers. With these tools, Harper has the ability to perform well at the next level.
