With JUCO Regional Tourneys starting up across the country this week, there's a new No. 1 as Wabash Valley takes over the top spot. Down one to No. 2 overall is Central Arizona, while Walters State also drops a spot to No. 3. Crowder moves up from No. 5 to No. 4 and Iowa Western enters the top five at No. 5.


Loaded with high-level talent on the mound and in the lineup, Wabash Valley has earned the No. 1 spot simply by being consistent. The Warriors have not lost more than one game in any 17-game stretch this season. Their offense continues to hum along with six everyday players batting over .400 and a sixth, Purdue recruit, OF Curtis Washington, Jr. at .389. It all starts at top for The Bash with leadoff hitter and Gonzaga recruit SS Savier Pinales who sets the tone with a .512 average and 59 stolen bases. He is followed in the lineup by EKU recruit 3B Freylin Minyety who strokes at a .477 clip with nine jacks and 67 RBI, while a trio of bombers have tanked ten HR apeice; 1B/C Ryan McCoy, OF Jon Hogart, C Jonathan Nieves.

On the mound TCU recruit LHP Connor Oliver dazzles with his low-90s velo and big curveball. He's posted a 2.17 ERA in 45.2 IP with 72 strikeouts. Oliver is joined by Indiana State recruit RHP Jose Cabrera Jr. who sits at 8-0 with four CGs and a 1.30 ERA in 55.1 IP. LSU recruit RHP Jason Bollman has punched out 59 in 36.2 IP to go along with a 2.95 ERA. As a staff, Wabash Valley holds a 2.86 ERA with 488 strikeouts in 343 IP.
