Joliet Preseason I.D.: Top Overall Prospects

The Joliet Open took place on Sunday, March 28th at the brand-new Rhino Baseball Academy in Shorewood, Ill. The event was open to all high school classes (2021-2024). Shortly after the event we took a look at the event with a Quick Hits article as well as a Statistical Analysis

Today we continue the analysis with a look at the Top-10 overall prospects from the day. Wichita State commit RHP Ashton Izzi (Oswego East, 2022) stole the show but ‘24 RHP Ryan Anderson (Minooka) looks to have one of the higher ceilings we have seen in the class.

RHP Chase Martin (Roanoke-Benson, 2022) is another uncommitted arm who showed high-ceiling stuff thanks to his 6-foot-3, 146-pound, long-limbed frame, loose easy arm and highly-advanced spin metrics on his breaking ball.
