THURSDAY, MARCH 23RD

+ LHP Walker Hooks (Brandon, 2024) was all that was advertised on Thursday evening. The Ole Miss commit worked 84-87 mph with great feel for the strike zone even though he did double his season walk total to just 4 in 2023. The 6-4 Hooks is a very imposing figure on the mound and is not afraid to go after hitters. He uses his fastball in and out on hitters with solid shape and action to his 1/7 shaped curveball. He also has a changeup that runs away from right handers with good arm speed resembling the fastball. The junior is 5-2 with a 0.56 ERA and 37 strikeouts on the season for the Bulldogs.
