Mark Dvoroznak Joins Prep Baseball Report Team

With great pleasure, the Prep Baseball Report is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Dvoroznak, in the capacity of Director of National Business Development. Dvoroznak comes to the Prep Baseball Report from USA Baseball, where he coordinated and executed some of the largest amateur baseball events in the country for Team USA. As the Director of National Business Development, Dvoroznak will spearhead the Prep Baseball Report’s national events and scouting initiatives.

Dvoroznak’s high-level experiences, baseball background and overall energy will augment the Prep Baseball Report’s state-specific boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, which in turn will benefit players, travel and high school teams, college coaches, pro scouts and fans alike.

“Mark is smart, detail-oriented and knows high-level baseball both as a player and as a coordinator,” said Prep Baseball Report President Sean Duncan. “His professionalism and ability to conceptualize and ultimately execute multi-faceted projects from coast to coast will be a huge asset to the Prep Baseball Report team.”

At USA Baseball, Dvoroznak served as the Director, Program Development. His primary responsibilities included coordinating the National High School Invitational (NHSI), which is inarguably the most prestigious prep baseball event on the spring calendar, and the National Team Identification Series (NTIS). Dvoroznak helped restructure the NTIS,  which saw a significant increase in participation in the two years he took over.

Dvoroznak joined USA Baseball in 2013 as a coordinator with the 18U National Team program and alumni relations. As a coordinator, he assisted with the operations of the Tournament of Stars and provided support to the 18U National Team, which went on to win a gold medal in the IBAF 18U World Cup held in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2015, he served as a director for the 12U National Team that also earned a gold medal in the 2015 WBSC U-12 World Cup in Tainan, Taiwan. Dvoroznak was responsible for the implementation of the 12U National Team selection process, which included the creation of the 2014 12U Open Development Camps, 2014 12U National Open and 2015 12U Futures Invitational.

Prior to USA Baseball, Dvoroznak worked for the Cleveland Indians to help coordinate their spring training operations as well as the Minor League video coordinator for the Single-A Carolina Mudcats. Dvoroznak earned four varsity letters on the West Virginia University baseball team, and has also had a previous work stint with the Cleveland Browns.
