WACO, TX - The Tournament of Champions was cancelled early last week due to impending weather conditions. Luckily, we were still able to catch a double header between McLennan and San Jacinto. Here are the scouting notes with video of the pitchers.
Josh Breaux, C/RHP, McLennan JC, Soph. Tomball, TX
Arkansas commit. 6-foot-2, 217-pounds. Although we did not get to see the Arkansas recruit play in the field, the right-hander did throw the last inning of game two. Breaux worked a quick 1-2-3 top of the 9th inning. His fastball sat 96-98 mph, and touched 100 mph once. He works from a high-¾ slot with a max effort delivery and quick arm stroke.
