Michigan Insider: John Malcom Selected To USA 15U National Team Trials Roster

Overview: USA Baseball has announced the 40 players named to the 2015 15U National Team Trials roster following the conclusion of the 15U USA Baseball East and West National Team Championships in Florida and Arizona. John Malcom of Country Day was the only player from Michigan to be selected to the team. John is a two-way threat, both on the mound and with the bat. Standing 6-foot-3, 215-pounds, he displays raw power from the left side at the plate while delivering his fastball in the mid 80s.

PBR: How were you introduced to USA baseball?
John: Through my travel team competing in the 2015 USA Baseball 15u East Championship in Jupiter Florida. We were being evaluated throughout the entire 10 day tournament.
