Michigan Insider: Top 2018 Uncommitted Right-Handed Pitching Prospects

With the Spring season and Summer showcase season coming to an end and the 2017-2018 high school sports season as well as fall ball underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position. Over the next few weeks we will look at the top uncommitted 2018 prospects as well as the top underclass prospects. As you can see by the 2018 rankings, there are a good amount of commits all over the nation and plenty of talent left out there for colleges to find.

Today we are looking at the top uncommitted 2018 Right-Handed Pitching Prospects in Michigan. We highlight five along with a quick peek at five arms below that. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as there are numerous talented prospects still available. Enjoy!

Brandon Smith RHP / 1B / Saginaw Heritage, MI / 2018

6-foot-6, 205 pound long projectable RHP with long legs. On the mound steps left moving into a high leg lift throwing down hill with ease. Throws from a high-3/4 arm angle. Fastball sits 86-88 mph while commanding the zone. 11/5 sharp breaking curve that already a swing and miss pitch at 71-72 mph. Smith comliments those two pitches with a 77-80 mph sinking changeup.
