Akadema Athletics

Benjamin (Macho) Santiago IF/RHP Douglas Freeman 2022
Solid frame. On the mound, had a more deliberate, build up style delivery on the mound with higher leg kick. Arm worked well and looks to have more in the tank with a fastball that ranged from 78-81 mph. Breaking ball was 66-68 mph and change was at 65 mph. At the plate, hits from a balanced set up. Level path with uphill finish and some bat speed. Defensively, Santiago displayed lateral and linear range from shortstop. Has ability to throw on the run from multiple arm slots and enough arm strength to play the left side. Interesting prospect with some two-way potential.

Jalen Greenidge OF/RHP Monacan 2022
Athletic projectable frame. Room to grow. Hits from an athletic set up at the plate. Hands are direct and quick, shows ability to spray the baseball around the field. Peppered two balls to right field in our game. Pitched well on the mound also, got up to 75 mph in a complete game effort.

Jaden Greenidge IF Monacan 2022
Athletic projectable frame. Room to add a lot of strength to down the road. Like athleticism and should be able to play multiple positions. Handled short very well in his game but down the road will probably have to move to a corner until footspeed can get a bit faster. Athletic set up at the plate, gets out of balance at times with a bit more involved lower half. See versatility and potential down the road.

Athletic slightly open stance at the plate. Pick up and strides forward landing on line. Head is quiet and maintains balance throughout. Gets on plane with a slight uphill bat path and barrel stays on through extension. Works gap to gap with some power potential in the swing and should only get better as he gets stronger.
