Earlier this month our staff updated the state's 2023 rankings, utilizing information we've gathered on players throughout an extensive spring and summer to expand our board to 275 names. To learn more about our official release of these rankings, click HERE.

We then highlighted some name-to-know uncommitted position players scattered throughout our updated rankings, which you can find HERE, and today we're turning our attention to the mound to highlight arms that are still on the market.

Read below to learn more about several pitching prospects who are still looking for a place to play at the next level.

Lane Harris LHP / Francis Howell Central , MO / 2023

6-foot-2, 180-pound left-handed pitcher who's one of the top uncommitted prospects in Missouri's senior class. Will represent Team Missouri at the Battle For the Arch on September 27th at GCS Ballpark. Has previously pitched in the mid-to-high-80s with a 2,800+ RPM breaking ball.

Kai Bennett RHP / Liberty , MO / 2023

From 9/11/22: "...showed well yet again at Sunday’s event. At 6-foot-4, 200-pounds, Bennett boasts traditional starter’s size and uses it to produce mid-to-high-80s velocity with his fastball, topping at 88 mph yesterday. Bennett’s aptitude to spin is evident - he averaged 2,451 RPM on his fastball and spun a 73-76 mph breaking ball at 2,600+ RPM, too. It was another quality look at one of the top uncommitted pitching prospects in Missouri’s senior class."
