Max Clark, OF/P, 2023, FranklinShowed up ready to show off his skills as a two-way prospect. Shows presence as complete all around athletic performer. On the mound, he continues to show command and control of a solid two-pitch mix in game. Fast arm, quick pace from the left side. FB 89-91, SL 83 down in zone. 4IP, 2H, 2R, 1ER, 12K. He pelted the strike zone with crisp velocity and solid slider. Good command and very good selection of pitches. As a position player, he displays very good game ready tools now! Runs well and is aggressive on the bases. Balanced swing with power. Hit some balls hard and deep with a pair of triples and a ball hit well over the fence. Changes the game plan of opposite teams on how to pitch lineup. Good plate coverage and showed he can go the other way when pitched away. Good adjustments and plays with a flare that is a joy to watch. Offensively was 5 for 8 with three runs, three RBIs, three walks, a pair of triples and a homerun deep over the fence. Runs very well with high on base intelligence. Vanderbilt commit.

Nate Dohm, RHP, 2021, Zionsville HSStrong, well-focused outing. Was calm and in complete control. Great tempo of delivery and FB 89-93, 83 Slider 79 Change up with very good movement. Change up was the impressive pitch as had great movement through 3IP, OH, 1BB, 7K’s. Umpire squeezed him on the walk. He was dialed in on the zone and worked off his FB.

Hunter Dobbins, C/IF, 2021, Mount Vernon: Displayed good catch ability. Lite feet and smooth actions. Arm works well and is very agile for large frame catcher. At the plate continued to hit all weekend with a loose hand bat that has power as well as strong barrels to balls. The bat uses the whole field to hit and is strong impact in a lite lineup. Relied upon heavily and he does not disappoint. Game ready prospect for the next level and as a pro prospect. Every game he hits had contact and impact to games. Dobbins may have been the most consistent player of the weekend going 7 for 8 with six runs, five RBIs, four  walks, three doubles, three stolen bases, and a homerun. The Ball State recruit was also strong behind the plate with a confident glove and several 1.95-2.05 pop times between innings. Dobbins is strong with a solid lower half and light feet on the bases and behind the dish.
