Ohio Insider: An Unconventional Journey To Pro Ball
COLUMBUS – There are endless routes to play professional baseball.
Few – if any – are as unconventional as that taken by Shea Murray.
The Ohio State fifth-year senior was selected.by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 18th round of this year's Major League Baseball Draft. It marks the second time in the last three drafts that Murray was chosen as a pitcher, the other in 2015 by the Rangers.
