Top Position Players from the Diamond League Summer Showcase

Antonio Bennett, SS, Clearview, 2016
Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic body frame. Currently ranked No. 52 in Ohio 2016 class. Plays summer baseball for the Lake Erie Warhawks. From the infield he shows good athletic footwork and moves well laterally covering good ground. He has a good, quick release throwing with a clean arm action coming through a ¾ slot with velocities of 80-83 mph. Right-handed hitter starts with a balanced set up. He uses an inward turn with his front foot as a timing mechanism, and a fluid load with his hands moving back to shoulder. His hands are short to the ball also displaying bat speed and strength to his swing. He ran 60-yard dash times of 6.93 and 6.97. Definitely someone to watch this summer.

Barrett Weber, OF, Kenston, 2016
