Tad Slowik, Mike Rosenbaum & PBR Staff

While the first seven spots in our updated NJCAA Division I rankings – which reflect games played from Feb. 21 through Feb. 27 – are all unchanged from last week, Dyersburg St. has surged into the Top 10, climbing from No. 14 up to No. 8 on the list thanks to a 13-game winning streak.

Dyersburg last lost on Jan 29, when they capped an 0-3, season-opening Florida trip with a loss to Central Florida. Since then, however, the Eagles have been a force, outscoring their opponents 111-37 while knocking off No. 7 Wabash Valley and a pair of Top 25 Division II programs.

New Mexico, up to No. 17 from No. 20, continued to rake last week, scoring 51 runs en route to four run-rule victories. The offensive is collectively slashing .347/.464/.562 on the season, averaging nearly 11 runs per game through 21 contests.

College of Southern Nevada is the biggest faller in the updated Top 25, dropping from No. 15 to No. 22 after dropping a three-game set to Cochise.
