Prep Baseball Report is proud to welcome Pascal Paul as our new Nebraska Director of Scouting. A native of Wisconsin, Paul will replace Brian Feekin, who was instrumental in the the inception and launch of PBR Nebraska and was invaluable in his scouting and promotion of players and programs in the state. While Feekin will be missed, the state of Nebraska is in excellent hands with Paul.

Paul played collegiately at Iowa Western Community College and West Virginia University. At Iowa Western Pascal helped the Reviers to a National Championship in 2012.  After IWCC; Paul transferred to West Virginia University where he led the Mountaineers in saves and appearances in 2013 and 2014 and a third-place finish for the Mountaineers in the BIG XII in 2013.

After his playing career- Paul went on to coach at Iowa Western and Indiana State University.  During his five season in Iowa, IWCC recorded 253 wins (50 per year), five consecutive ICCAC regular season Conference Championships, four NJCAA World Series Appearances, four Regional & District Titles, 11 NJCAA All-Americans, one NJCAA Pitcher of the Year and three of the highest MLB draft picks (3rd round, 5th round, 6th round) in program history at the time. On the mound the Reivers were consistently at the top of national rankings finishing with the top ERA in the country twice in 2015 and 2018. In total, 59 Reivers went on to sign Division I scholarships. In his two seasons at Indiana State Paul assisted with leading the pitching staff to a Nashville regional appearance, one Unanimous All-American,  Missouri Valley Conference Pitcher of the Year and 2x MVC 1st Team All-Conference pitchers.

“I am extremely honored, and excited to be named the Scouting Director for Prep Baseball Report in Nebraska,” Paul said. “ Helping student-athletes achieve their goal of playing baseball at the next level has always been a true passion of mine; as well as being a resource for them and their parents to lean on for advice.”

“Nebraska has always felt like a second home to me and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help players across the state realize their full potential. Prep Baseball Report is at the top in terms of providing accurate reliable information to coaches/scouts and I couldn’t be more excited to continue the process of helping the great baseball players in Nebraska reach their goals of playing at the next level”

“Pascal’s work ethic and nose to the grindstone approach to accomplish great things is second to none,” said Prep Baseball Report State Director Rob Allison. “From a high school recruit, to NJCAA World Series Champion, battling and succeeding at Division 1 and the Big XII, to relentlessly working and building himself into a known commodity in college baseball; I am extremely proud of his accomplishments and feel fortunate that he is now bringing that work ethic to Prep Baseball Report. Aside from his background and baseball resume, Pascal is such a likable, straight-forward good person, and I am pumped to officially have him on our team leading the charge in the state of Nebraska.”

Now Paul will bring his baseball experiences, connections, and passions for scouting to Nebraska’s prep baseball scene. He will work tirelessly to bring to you the most comprehensive high school baseball information Nebraska has ever seen, and provide scouting coverage to all corners of the state. But he can’t do it alone. Please email him at [email protected] with college commitments, relevant news, and top players in your area.
