Recuriting Essentials provides advice on social media use, updated draft blog and much more. 2017 Boras Classic Prep Baseball Report’s Shooter Hunt and Nathan Rode were in Southern California to cover the 2017 Boras Classic. Rode focused primarily on draft prospects, while Hunt highlighted underclassmen. RECRUITING ESSENTIALS: SOCIAL MEDIA The growth and popularity of smart phones has led to another avenue coaches and scouts can gain valuable information. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat have changed the way high school players communicate. At their fingertips, a player can communicate with their friends, family, and coaches. With great pleasure, the Prep Baseball Report is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Dvoroznak, in the capacity of Director of National Business Development. Dvoroznak comes to the Prep Baseball Report from USA Baseball, where he coordinated and executed some of the largest amateur baseball events in the country for Team USA. As the Director of National Business Development, Dvoroznak will spearhead the Prep Baseball Report’s national events and scouting initiatives.

College coaches and pro scouts are watching. When you get off the bus, they are watching. When you are working in the cage, they are watching. When you are playing for a championship in front of 3,000 fans, of course they are watching. The reach of recruiting information does not have a limit. Coaches want to know what they are getting on the field, in the classroom, and in the locker room, so they are watching.
