On Tuesday, we headed to Columbia for their match-up with Lawrence County.  An early 6-spot in the bottom of the first helped set the tone as Columbia won 10-0 in 5 innings.  Read up on the standouts below:

JADEN HAMM / RHP / SS / COLUMBIA CENTRAL, TN / 2020

FB (83-86), CB (70-73), CH (77)

-          5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 9 K

-          1-2, 2 BB

Righty was dynamic on the mound while picking up the walk-off RBI single from the cleanup spot.  Tall, athletic, high-waisted frame w/ some well-proportioned lean strength.  Super projectable, has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into over the top to H ¾ release.  Bit of a classic rock and fire style delivery.  Can be a little stronger with the glove side, inconsistent at times, will pull him down and can get him off direction at times.  Super quick arm w/ loose arm action.  Angle w/ occasional downhill plane.  FB showed occasional arm-side run, occasional straight.  Tight big downer CB w/ proper shape and rotation.  Gets loopy at times, but above average depth consistently.  Straight CH w/ arm-speed.  Around the zone w/ the FB (41 of 62 for strikes), developing consistent feel of the secondary.  Tools to command.  Generated 15 swing and misses on 33 swings.   Offensively, shows intriguing bat speed w/ patient approach, but projects best on the mound.
