The 2017 Major League Draft takes place June 12-14. In advance of the draft, Prep Baseball Report is posting a summary of each state in the coverage area with scouting reports on the top high school draft prospects.

Pitching was the name of the game in Pennsylvania this spring with scouts hanging out in the Philadelphia area to see RHP Chris McMahon (West Chester Rustin HS, PA) and RHP Joe Lancellotti (William Penn Charter School, PA). Ultimately, all of the state’s prospects may end up in college, to be evaluated again in three years.

50. Chris McMahon, RHP, West Chester Rustin HS, PA
A Miami recruit, McMahon has a 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame and pitches with minimal effort. He has a loose, clean arm action and good hand speed out front that produces a 92-94 mph fastball, touching 95.
