President

Player: Roberto Pena
Position: 3B
School: South Florida

A native of Venezuela, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound redshirt sophomore is a two-way prospect whose future is at third base at the next level. A lockdown defender at the hot corner, Pena has a simple, compact swing and generates above-average bat speed and power. A decorated prospect coming out of national powerhouse Calvary Christian HS in Florida, Pena was originally committed to the University of Florida before transferring to the College of Central Florida CC, and ultimately landed at South Florida, where he will be a middle-of-the-order run-producer. Last spring, he tallied eight homers, six doubles, 32 RBI, nine stolen bases with a .452 OBP through 28 games of the shortened season. Pena can also hop on the mound and pitches in the low-90s.
