Preseason All-State Standouts

Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

Through the winter, several states hosted Preseason All-State events, the culmination of PBR Preseason IDs leading into the high school season, with the goal of foreshadowing who the top prospects of the high school season might be. Many players stood out at these showcases and state directors have submitted a few names in the list below. You can also find leaders in various stats and metrics across all of the events with our Preseason All-State Leaderboards.

Brayden Bachman, OF, Hickory HS, VA (2025)
Bachman currently stands at 5-foot-10, 178 pounds and is one of the more advanced bats in Virginia’s 2025 class. The former Junior Future Games participant put on an offensive display at the Preseason All-State Beach in February, showing above average bat and hand speed and power potential to all fields. The barrel accelerates through contact and he consistently produces loud barrels.
